Just a quick post with face #3 for the 29 faces in 30 days, september 2013 challenge.
I first drew the face on some bookpages and then cut her out.
And glued her to a background in my art journal.
I then painted her with acrylic paints and added some details with aquarel pencils. After which I added the final detail with india ink and white gel pen.
She's very difficult to photograph, because the purple paint is pearlescent.
I like her, but I do feel the page is not finished yet, but just to keep on shedule I'll post her now and figure out later what else to add to the page.

What a great idea! I think I'm going to have to do some of these too. Now it's just a matter of finding some books that are both significant and disposable.
