WOYWW 211

Just a quick post today, showing you yesterdays workdesk, since it is time for another WOYWW over at Julia's Stamping Ground.

As yesterday was my birthday, I didn't do very much, but enjoy the weather and play a little with my newly made Gelatine plate.

I used the recipe from Lindsay, the frugal  crafter, as a starting point and adjusted the amounts to work with the materals I could get here in the Netherlands. For one thing I couldn't find the powdered form of the gelatin and used leaves instead. Let me know if you would like the adjusted recipe and I'll post it.

I worked mainly with hot pink and orange, as those are the colors for the Summer of Color, week 2.

Collected all sorts of oranges and pinks from my stash and made a huge mess =).

Last monday I made a little booklet as a birthday giveaway and the drawing for that is still open. You can find it in my previous post, so if you would like to be entered in the drawing, you can check it out here.

I f you would like to know more about this WOYWW phenomenon, go on over to Julia's Stamping Ground for an explanation and to check out some more workdesks.

Thank you for watching and I wish you all a wonderful week. I'm off now to check out some workdesks =).

  30. Yep, powdered gelatin isn't so easy to come by here either, so I've seen a couple of plates made with the leaf stuff..perfectly successful, as yours was. Loving the hot pink and orange> Many happy returns..sounds like the perfect day to me!

  32. I wish I had your awesome outdoor space to play in. I have a chiminea, but it isn't nearly as nice as yours. And that garden is to die for. Lovely flowers and greenery.

I've never heard of leaf gelatin. We get the powdered stuff here in the States, and it's all I've ever known about.

Again, happy belated birthday and a joyful slightly late WOYWW from #17.
